BEHAVIORAL CONSULTATIONS

A behavioral consultation is an in-depth private session that focuses on specific behavior problems related to fear, anxiety, aggression (to humans and/or dogs), or compulsive disorders. These types of behavioral problems go beyond traditional training and require the expertise of a qualified professional experienced in behavioral modification. An initial consultation is 1.5 - 2 hours during which we will collect a detailed history of all aspects of your dog’s behavior, assess your dog, start implementing a training strategy, and develop a behavior modification plan. Cost is $300.  Follow-up sessions (if needed) are approximately an hour long. Cost is $150.  When necessary, we work in cooperation with veterinarians and veterinarian behaviorists to implement behavior modification protocols.  To ensure the health and safety of all, we must be provided proof of current vaccinations:  Rabies, Distemper, Parvo, and Bordetella.

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING ABOUT US

"Absolutely wonderful experience today. I had a behavior consultation for my fearful dog that has recently begun biting and nipping when scared. Not only was Liz friendly and welcoming to us, her way of approaching my pup was refreshing and made me optimistic about the whole thing. Her gentle approach made my usually anxious dog completely comfortable with her in the first 40 minutes of our lengthy consult. I can’t wait to see where the following training sessions take us!"
